COVID-19 RESOURCES
Please be advised that Governor Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Levine have allowed orthodontic offices to reopen with restrictions. To ensure the health and safety of patients, we will commence seeing patients on a reduced capacity and will be following Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
When you return to the office, things will be different. On arrival, patients (or a parent/ guardian) will be asked to call the office from your car. You will then be greeted by an office team member who will ask a series of questions, take the patient’s temperature, and have a COVID19 consent to treatment form signed. Any patient with a temperature higher than 100.4 degrees cannot be seen and will be instructed to contact such patient’s family doctor. Once paperwork is completed, we kindly ask that only the patient enter the treatment area. If a patient is apprehensive, no more than one person may accompany the patient into the office; however, such person will be subjected to screening and will be directed to the waiting area until treatment is complete.
My staff and I greatly look forward to seeing our patients. We respectfully ask for your patience as we adjust our schedule to adhere to CDC and OSHA guidelines. In addition, we continue to advise our patients and their families to continue practicing social distancing measures and, of course, to stay safe and healthy.
